What would be the expected BHP/Torque for the 1.8 and 2.0 with the Turbo kit fitted?

That depends on what else they add to the kit.. remap / ecu.. yadda yadda!

Lets just say that with the upgrade on the stock XU10J2TE turbo internals, with the GT28RS kit, larger injectors, 2.5bar map sensor and a remap have proven to produce 270hp reliable, so about 245ish at the wheels.... much fun to be had with that ! ! !

Ok so you have to upgrade the stock intercooler, but hey thats a good thing :D

So my standard 2.0 litre petrol 16v, would cost how much to fit a basic turbo?

Parts, labour and VAT with the member discount?

Installation would have to be done by your local tuner if you are not capable as would the remap / ecu installation... the turbo kit starts from: £1,478.37 approx, but then you will need the electronics and fuel products to support.

This is prior to discount so, let me know if your serious about the kit and then i'll get a quote to you????!!!

Niz do they upgrade the standard turbo......... also do they do front mount intercoolers with the connections in the right place ( obviously room would need to be made for it) also actuators for our motors??.

On a side note and possibly a really stupid question but will an actuator without a remap give more power or will the ecu just reign it in?

Hi Chap,

They don't offer a direct replacement upgrade, instead they have manufactured a fantastic exhast manifold and downpipe set to fit any of the turbo's they supply... the benefits over stock are greater flow rates, spool time, lower charge temps and the obvious increased boost capability...

FMIc's could be made as they are offering custom / bespoke services

Actuator will provide an increase in performance, if adjusted correctly... remember that stock boost levels for 1/2 gear are in the lower 4-6 p.s.i margins for traction... whilst 3/4/5 are between 10 - 12 p.s.i even if you do uprate your actuator the ECM will still control the boost in the same manner as before. It will detect boost exceeding the stock levels in 1/2 gear and redirect all charge pressure to the actuator causing max boost to be unchanged... although the turbo will react/spool better for this due to the tension applied to the new actuators spring.. i.e. no more wastegate creep!!!

Thanks niz so.......

price for manifold and bigger turbo that will still run ok on a standard engine(for now) and would |I need anything else to get it fitted or is it bolt on replacement?.

Obviously I will get the car remapped to suit and remove the limit in 1st/2nd.
