Looking for a reliable 406

Hi all,

After my old green machine has been taken out last week, i am now looking for a decent 406 or Skoda Octavia or a good diesel 2 litre. My problem is that most of those I have seen so far are asking far too much for the mileage (mainly trade dealers).

If any of you have or know of a decent motor at a fair price (as i am not made of money) please can you let me know.

Are you still loooking for a 406?
I might know where there is one going...a 2.0HDI 110bhp estate in everglade green 'W' yr 2000. Been looked after well and in good condition. Its got dark Limo tints on windows on all windows behind driver and front passenger....looks rather nice. 187k on the clock but sound and well maintained....i think its asking price is about £1000
