Wanted 2001 406 estate aerial

Hi,

My Aerial isnt up to much, and needs replacing, however it is rusted to the base unit on the roof, so I basicaly need the whole thing. Anyone got one spare? Been scrap yards and the only 406's that they have all have the aerials at the front of the roof, but mine is at the back.

You should be able to get something very similar to the original from your LMF for about a fiver.
Take the old one out and take it with you, not worth fitting second hand ones. I wouldn't think the dealer price would be that bad but you never know.

Be careful removing the light fitting to gain access as they can go brittle over time and snap when you lever them out.

is your ariel at the front of the roof or the rear ??

rear is £48 from Stealers
front is £6.65

bet i can guess which one yours is

Have it orf, soak it in WD, give it a twist.

Then replace with coat hanger.

Hi, I'm stripping my 406 Estate in the next couple of weeks - it has a rear mounted base unit, but no aerial..

Any takers?

I shall have to take mine off, but on 1st inspection it looks very similar. Shall try and look tomorrow, if I can figure out how to get the headlining down enough.

Hi, maybe £5 plus postage. I will see how hard it is to remove before promising it, will have to remove headlining - maybe at the weekend?
