1999 PEUGEOT 406 V6 SALOON VERY RARE MOT FAILURE

I have owed the car since Nov 2011. The V5 is in my name and the car will be seen at my address in Daventry. She drives like a dream and is very comfortable with leather heated electric seats. Not to juicy and I’ve been getting just under 30 to the gallon.

Very rare it seems, I have never seen another V6 saloon 406. Much too good a car to scrap so hopefully you can put her back on the road.

Some minor scratches on her, the worst been a scratch on the drivers door which hopefully can be seen in the photo.

Failures are

Both rear brake lights not working.
Offside read tyre worn.
Rear exhaust has a major leak
Centre exhaust has a major leak
Front brake disc nearside needs replacing

Advisories are
Offside front and nearside tyres worn
Nearside trailing arm has slight play in a pin/bush
Offside trailing arm has slight play in a pin/bush
Rear brake disc worn.

Seems a shame to get rid. To pass, all it needs is a set of tyres, a set of brake discs, an exhaust, and (possibly) a pair of brake light bulbs. Possibly a proper bargain for someone.

Hopefully it will be. I already have 3 other cars otherwise I would keep her. I was hoping to put it a 12 month ticket on it and sell it. Don't have the time to sort it myself.

I also have 4 winter tyres on steel rims that I used in Germany. 2 tyres are low so I will sell for £60 with the car so that is one problem solved.
