SOLD Breaking 2003 406 2.2 SE HDi saloon SOLD

Post by 406loon »

Car looks quite nice but those rims definitely don't do it justice and will make it fetch much less than it is worth... :(

Should you decide to break it - which is a shame but sometimes the best way forward - I would be interested in the headlight protectors, non-smokers kit and the mud flaps... :supafrisk: ( makes me sound really old... )

I have just had my Hoggars refurbished so as much as I want the Brembos, I don't want to get rid of my Hoggars either..

If No one is interested in taking the car complete you have first dibs on all those bits. If you want to run brembos behind Hoggars you would have to get the coupe Hogs.

Regards

Yeah, Finchy and me were comparing Hoggars last year. I thought they were the same but the Coupe ones have slimmer spokes i.e. they have 'shaved' the back of the spokes so they clear Brembos...

Hmmmm, maybe I will think about the Brembos after all, funds permitting.

It probably means he's just not logged on since you posted it, although he'll have got the usual email alert.

Thats good, it would have been a pity to break what is a pretty solid car. Good result.

Would have been a great shame to break it.
Looks in better condition than mine was.
I think a wash, standard alloys, and a good write-up could have seen that go for a lot more -- but it's having the time.

Anyway, sounds like a happy ending.

You are welcome mate. I am glad its going to someone who will run it for a while and appreciate it. I have found the OE mudflaps, wing and spoiler to tart her up and I will have the bits swapped over tomorrow evening, so all ready for pickup Monday evening.

Her last duty will be to get me to Winchester and back to pickup my new car then after that shes all yours :)
