Wanted 15" Quartz Wheel trim x 1 (8 hole)

Post by Chevetter »

I am fitting some winter wheels and tyres to my 406 and am looking for 16 x wheel bolts for steelies (which according to the bloke at Peugeot are made of a different material to alloy wheel bolts as well as being taper-head) and some 15" wheel trims.

I would ideally like the Quartz wheel trims but will consider anything kerbing-free.

Please PM me, can pay by Paypal if posting or collect from Cambridge area, Wellingborough area or anywhere inbetween.

If you've got a spare 20 minutes nip along to your local breakers, they're usually scattered around on the floor and they're a pretty standard fit.
Wear trousers with big pockets :cheesy:

16 of the things would be pretty heavy as far as postage is concerned.

I probably shouldn't say this but, in the spirit of don't try this at home, I found the tapers on my allow wheel bolts fitted the steels fine

Hi mate, you only need steel bolts with steel wheels, and alloy bolts with alloy wheels as the steel bolts cut into the alloy wheel, and alloy bolts don't bite well on steelies and could shake lose.... iirc

Yeah, I wasn't going to risk using the alloy ones as the Mrs drives the car a lot too.

No takers then? I know postage will be reasonably expensive but Pug want ££££ per bolt and I don't have time currently to get to the breakers. I was thinking more like a tenner for a set of used bolts +P&P would be a reasonable price.

I got a free set of BMW hubcaps from a mate, I just bought some Peugeot wheel centre stickers and put them over the BMW logo and put the hubcaps on my Mums 806 - it looked quite smart..!!

If you put a picture up of what you need I will have a look around.. :supafrisk:
