Wanted - Instrument cluster

Post by Tubthumper »

Afternoon all,

I'm after a set of clocks ( 5 dial) for my 2000 HDI Rapier 90, as mine have gone haywire, and following several unsuccessful changes of various sensors the fault seems to lie with the clocks.

The ones I need have the two plugs at the back with a serial number ; 9639940880 and a Peugeot part number 610459.

They also need to have less than 112 k on them.

Many thanks,

Malc.

Sorry to spoil the party Malc but it don't realy matter about the millage as unless you change the B.S.I. ect for the doner car then your B.S.I. will automaticly add the two millages together  .

Now I'm really confused, as previous posts on here suggest that the mileage adjusts to whichever has the the higher mileage recorded, clocks or ECU ? :? :?

Hi mate. Had the same problem with the cluster on my 406 estate. Turns out that there was water gettin in through the o/s/r light and there was a connector block sittin in a little swimming pool!!!! Lifted it out, dried it up an hey presto.....a working cluster :P

Well, having taken out both rear lights, the only connector blocks in there are for the lights themselves , which were both bone dry :?

Where was the connector block you came across ?

There's also a multi-connector under the carpet which is prone to getting wet. Could be worth checking that out.

Thanks all. I have previously checked those blocks under the carpet ( what a stupid place to put them ! ) but they were also dry, so I'm still confident it's the clocks that are faulty. :?
