The time has come for me to part with my beloved 406, I've had this car for about 5 years now but I cannot spend any more money on it. Its fully working and passed its MOT in October with considerable cost. I don't think its saleable as theres a noise coming from the engine which I've been told could be the cam shaft ball joint?...i'm not certain of this. Im breaking it as the scrap price is £175 ish and I paid nearly that for the new CAT and front exhaust system for the MOT.
I'm just of the M1 near Sheffield and will post out smaller parts. Can provide any pics and more than welcome to come view the car and strip out the parts you want...open to offers.

Never heard of a camshaft balljoint, I would get a second opinion

I don't want to repair it any more, I've spent over a £1000 on it in the last 12 months, its got to go now before it bankrupts me or blows up

Hi i'm after a rear drivers electric window motor with the slides. Also the abs pump that sits next to the right side of the engine (passenger side) bay I think it's a Bosch 1 if that helps. If needed call message me asap thanks
