XU10J2TE is a turbo, it's probably the same as others but you might want to check first. Engine code is RGX.

Here it is.

Measure the bolt that came out of the sump (mine was 14mm if i remember right) and tap a new hole.... I think it was Jasper who told me to put a bit of mastic around the washer to get a better seal because after the first service I done I had the odd drip. (Nothing noticable)

Re: Wanted
Yes M14 x 1.25 mm pitch is the pitch of the threads (so this is metric fine), M14 as standard is 1.5 or 1.75 pitch I can't remember which without consulting my Zeus book
But it won't matter if you tapping it out bigger as long as you have the bigger sump bolt to fit
.
If your planing on doing it on the car in situ use plenty of grease on the tap & do a turn at a time (after the first three turns to get you started)
taking the tap out each time to clean off the grease with the swarf trapped in it, to stop it getting in the motor, when you have finished tip a litre of oil through the
motor to flush out any swarf that might have made it into the motor (you can use your old oil that you drained before doing this to save money
)
When fitting your new sump plug put some P.T.F.E tape round it before fitting (three times round the thread should be enough).
Hope this is of some help DDD
.
I checked at work today & std M14 is 2.0mm pitch
& didn't remember it being that big (Oerr mrs!!!!)
Oh & I forgot to say, you can find your local tool hire store / engineers supply's & hire a Re-coil / heli-coil kit to do the job
A much better idea & the way I did mine (if the ally sump's were heli-coiled from the factory this problem wouldn't happen
)

Re: Wanted
Come to think of it my mate done the on the floor work on my last oil change because my back was playing up and I'm sure he used P T F E tape because he swears by the stuff... And mastic.
