D9 intercooler needed!

Post by hootswah »

Hi all!

I have a 90 HDi, but need an intercooler from a 110 car as Celtic Tuning are going to remap the vehicle for me.
Having a 90 without the intercooler will take it to 125BHP.
Having an intercooler will take it to 150!
60bhp jump sounds appealing, and the cost is about right.
Spoke to them and their experience is huge, particularly on 406's.
So, does anyone know where I can lay my hands on an intercooler, pref a D9 model from a 110 HDi?
I'm in the North East.

Cheers

Steve

Trust me on this, you wont get anywhere near 150bhp with just a remap an OE intercooler. With a custom front mount you may see 140 ish.

Save your pennies for a custom job, its the only way 8)

yeah, this is very true, the oem intercooler is pants, you need a much bigger custom fmic for that kind of power

Have a look at their website for me...they seem to be genuine and when I spoke to them on the phone, the guy was very knowledgeable.
not sure how they get that power but I might just go the 90-125bhp increase and not bother with the intercooler.

Have a look at their site and tell me what you think. Here's the link:

I know Celtic and Graham is a good bloke, however I have heard some grumblings from people with 306s who have had theres mapped (same engine). Try SP tuning, Jamie is a good lad and his prices are very reasonable.
120-125bhp is about right for a map
