Garden tidy 2x 406 estates

Post by ianjoh »

It's time to make some room in the garden!
I have a silver estate on a v plate, it's the 110 hdi but an early one so it's semi mux. I have had a few parts off it for my later hdi so it's up on blocks but needs to go to my local scrappy in the next week or so.
The later hdi 110 (blue) is also up for grabs or parts, it is on a 53 plate, mot expired and on sorn. It starts and runs but needs to be trailered. The gearbox crunches in the higher gears.
Let me know if anyone wants anything, I am based in south Norfolk

Hi Ian, is the COM2000 indicator wiper switch assembly thingy a good one on the 53 plate car?

If so I am interested. (That is if you are prepared to remove and post it......)

Thanks Steve

Hi Steve
Sorry for the abismally slow reply.
The indicator stalk is working fine, yours for £30 Inc p&p, I can remove it this weekend if you want it. Happy with PayPal.
Cheers

The part numbers are not important, only the functions ( fogs, rear wiper, auto lights, trip computer etc ) and if it has ESP.... 8)

That's interesting, I thought I had to find the exact one!

Ian, mine does not have cruise control.

It does have auto lights, auto wipers, front and rear fogs and audio control stork, though I notice that can be removed and clipped back on again....

Don't think I have ESP (?)

here it is:

The cruise and stereo stalks are separate, and can be removed or added - not an integral part.. 8)

Mine is the same colour! It also has what you have listed, fortunately no esp either.

Got your pm ok, send me your address and I will post it, if it don't work then just send it back. Sort finances when you are happy.
I think you will need to program it to your ecu?

Plug and play, only the ones with ESP need calibrating, otherwise it's a straight swap, about 20mins.
Please be careful unplugging the Connectors on the back, if you accidentally remove the surrounding housing too then it's a bugger to fix ( I have the T-shirt....... )

Ian's COM2000 arrived today, job done, pending a proper test drive tomorrow, so far so good!

Many Thanks Ian and everyone for advice etc.

The only casualty I suffered so far is a broken cigarette lighter...... how ARE you supposed to reconnect that little #@$£#^*

?
