Steve, you can lift up the gear stick gaitor, and reach under the lighter to reconnect it, but you need nimble fingers, plasters and a swear box....

Hi All,

Sadly, I am back to square #1 with this COM2000 as again I have no side lights!

There must be something else causing these units to malfunction......

Ah sheet. Sorry to hear that. Mine is still here if you want anything else. Was your original one mechanically broken or was you side lights the problem? If you want sent your original one to me I can plug it in to test it.

Thanks for the kind offer Ian, the side lights have come back since, and then gone again!!

Will probably be moving it on now, let someone else figure it out!
