prefer an estate but open minded.
i have been trawling eBay and loads of very expensive rubbish.
Prefer an hdi 90 with lowish mileage and no problems but am realistic so usual stuff like droplinks, arb bushes, engine mount etc don't put me off is price is right
will be put into daily use so needs to be capable of 10-15k miles a year for a few years more.
budget upto 800 for a long mot and no real problems

Hi Annie, would you be interested in our 406 2.0 Hdi registered 2001 Running well. occasional electrical glitch (once a year) which is usually solved by disconnecting the battery for a minute or two .Mileage is about 130,000.
MOT is due this week so very willing to get that sorted out if you are interested.

sorry, been away.the c5 auto is behaving at the minute.
ive got 2 cars up for sale this week so as soon as they sell i can get another 406. c5 is so so so comfy. very little help on the web though. this forum is brilliant for help,advice and general chatting, def the best iv ever been on for friendlyness.

its a lx auto estate. 110hp.
just did 1000 miles in 2 days. already done 5k miles and not one single problem. supremely smooth and very low road and wind noise. new Avon zv7 tyres all round last week and just new discs and pads and the crank pulley is all ive done. 300 pounds max.
going to do an auto gbox fluid change next few weeks but the gbox has been faultless and always in the right gear. average mpg is 45-50 on a run and about 35 around town.
