Selling my 2003 406 estate 2.0 hdi LX.
This has been my do all motor for 7 years, its got about 158000 miles on the clock.
MOT until 30th Sept. Last MOT had a few advisories.
For its age it is in really good condition inside, some lacquer peel on front area.
Radio works but the cd player is iffy and still holding my Barry White cd hostage.
Crossclimate tyres with plenty of meat on them. Engine is rock solid and burns no oil. Starts first turn, I get about 50mpg on a run.
Brakes completely rebuilt about 3 years ago.
The brake servo isn't holding vacuum that well and I'm trying to source a replacement at this time. However, my family have made me upgrade (if there is such a thing from a 406) to a newer car. So this has to go.
Make no mistake, this is not a spares or repair, this is and has been a runner and used day for 7 years. Its never let me down.
If I get the servo done I'll be looking for £1400
As it is, I'm looking for £1000 ono.
Cheap motoring for several years to come.
PM me if you wish to see images. I'm on the leics warks border near Hinckley.
