205 roland garros cabriolet

Post by Bonez »

as to my last car for sale thread need some money ASAP to fix other car! so this has to go ASAP
i have had her for a while now 2/9/2003 infact she has just clicked over 146K high i know but still going very strong.
remember they only made 150 of these in right hand drive form and there aint that many left now!
in the time i have had it i have rebuilt the top end due to head gasket going
had 4 new tyres not so long ago not the original wheels but 306 D turbo ones, look a lot better i think. but the original wheels do come with it and they are in very good condition
just had a clutch this weekend
new downpipe not so long ago
new roof in 03 costing £380 but signs of ware already (due to my fitting i think!)
brand new carb costing me £320 in 04 she runs like a dream
new discs and pads a couple of years ago still loads of life left
second hand known good beam a couple of months ago, its a cracking beam i do say so my self! no camber at all, also put new shocks on when i put it on

its always fired first time when ever i come to use it as i only used it as a weekend summer car so it aint done that much mileage in the years i have had her. it has TAX till the end of this month (june) and MOT till jan 08
i insure this thou firebond and it cost's me 26 year old on a classic policy 3K miles a year (but they never ask for proof) £150! so dirt cheap to insure plus being a 1.4 cheap tax
the paint work is good apart from a few stone chips. does polish up well has always been garaged since i had her
the inside is ok the seats have a little ware the drivers side has been repaired but the leather doesnt match very well
the poassinger side seat has a small hole in it
i do have another set of seats i would be willing to let go to the new owner for a very small fee tho these aint to bad at all bit of bolster sag but no holes so could just get the bolster pumped up maybe??
it has the normal RG fetures such as central locking, electric windows, electric roof, RG steering wheel
also comes with the ultra rare tonneau cover

there is down pionts tho
i think it had a slight bump way before i had it and they replaced the passinger side wing with an aftermarket one and its rusted a bit.
theres afew car park dings and a few stone chips but she is 17 years old!
the roof has a slight hole in the near side quarter (due to my fitting i think)
the spots could do with a clean or replacing as flood water got into one of them
thats all i can think of at the mo if i think of anything else i shall tell
