205 GTi turbo cherry red 91 J

Post by Bonez »

right had some bad luck with my car over the weekend so this HAS to go ASAP!
was going to just get it done slowly but need the money
it started life as a 1.6 gti with sunroof but now has a XM 2.0L turbo sitting in it. the car has done 120K and has MOT till 13th of july 07
i personaly have not heard the engine run but it has been rebuilt, head gasket, valve stem seals, cam belt and tensioners every other gasket you can think of everything has been renewed apart from the bottom end everything you should do when putting a new engine in. i was told it had only done about 50K before it came out of the XM but i never belive peoples words anymore but when we had it apart it was still very clean inside with not much ware at all.
all the wiring is there and some are joined up but i think there is one that needs going somewhere for it to fire but god knows where (someone on here will be able to tell you tho)
its had the gear selector rod quick shifted and modded to fit and not foul the turbo
the turbo does not foul the master cyclinder like they do its all been sorted for that
i have a load of boost pipe to sort the intercooler out that includes a meter of samco pipe and some other black pipe
there is a polished ally cossie 4X4 cooler or you can use the MR2 one i have these will both be in with the price
there is a new bonnet for it, its a auto bonnet with 10 cool louves in each side facing backwards (looks the tits!) but its in the wrong colour and would need spraying and a couple of dings taken out
its running on a BE3 1.9 gearbox with a brand new clutch and brand new drive shafts!!

the inside is clean. i jet washed the carpet and its come up well. theres half leather seats in very good condition, black dash again good working order. i replaced a couple of bits of the dash as they were broken
the coin tray even works!
also has original GTi carpets, again i jet washed these and they look great, theres even the original mud flaps on it to :D

the paint work isnt the best but all it does need is a bit of a polish/T cut and it should come up well a few dings but what do you expect for the year!

there is only one other downfall. the rear beam is bolloxed but i have another one here ready to go on so that will be included in the price
also so will a set of 1.9 wheels with avon tyres 1 needs replacing as its split around the edge
if i look around theres probley a few more things that will come with it like (just remembered) electric window motors, brand new strut brace

anyway a couple of pics will get more later

theres probley things i have forgotten as you always do when advertising a car so will update as and when i remember!

looking for £800 its cost me a shed load more than that i just need the money asap! please no piss take offers i need as much as i can get so closer to £800 the better. i know i can get more in parts but that defeats the piont in selling for a quick sale! plus i have not got the time to strip/be messed about. but if no offers i will be stripping it

any questions what so ever just ask on here or PM me
