406 turbooooooooooo engine!

Post by Bonez »

got a 2.0L turbo lump out of a XM but there all the same 406,xm etc

the engine came out of a XM and i was told it had only done 50 odd K but i cant not prove that so for piece of mind it got fully rebuilt bar the bottom end so everything up top was replaced i.e head gasket, skim on the head, valves reground in, cam belt, tensioners, valve stem seals, inlet and exhaust gaskets, cam seals the hole hog
the turbo has no play in it so thats sound and spins freely
it will come with a 80K 1.9 205 gti gearbox, 2.0L Mi16 fly wheel, brand new fly wheel bolts, brand new clutch, brand new 1.6 drive shafts and a load of boost pipes including a meter of samco boost pipe also 2 intercoolers you can use either of them they are a MR2 turbo one and a polished cossie 4X4 one
please remember that if you brought all of this speratly it would cost an arm and a leg so grab a bargain! break down the prices it comes to this, engine £300, rebuild £250, clutch £70, drive shafts £120, boost pipes etc etc about £75 plus oils etc. so £425 would be a bargain and a half!

so £425 or VERY near offer

this needs to go asap! please please no time wasters!

i know there wont be any 205 owners on here well not many if that! but if you just want the engine only and no gearbox etc etc then we could come to some agreement as these go in the coupe's and obviously the saloon :D

well wouldnt be £425 if you wanted it for your 406 as you dont need the shafts or box and even clutch for that matter!

so £350 would be what i ask
