I have an R reg 1998 406 saloon 2.0 litre Turbo in metallic red with contrasting tan leather interior.
It has done 125k and everything works. It does not have a current MOT but would go straight through as far as I can tell.
(with maybe the exception of a small chip in the front screen)
I have some history for it as it previously belonged to my brother inlaw.
The service book is stamped to 86k.
It has ABS,Climate Control, Headlight washers, 6 disc multiplay with cassette radio and column stick control, Alloy wheels,
Front fog lights, Pas, Heated Leather Electric 3 Memory position seats, Auto wipers, Headlight height control, Remote central locking and alarm, Rear head restraints, 4 Electric windows (drivers Auto), Genuine floor mats, All keys, about 7 of the last MOT's, Owners Hand book and wallet, V5 and SORN statement.
I bought the vehicle to remove the engine and put it in a 205 but other projects have got in the way and the space and cash would be handy.
I dont need to sell it but I would rather it had a good home or was broken to help others out , I just dont have the time to complete it or MOT it and sell it, so, really it should go.
I drove it from my bro inlaws house in Grantham to Ely (about 75 miles) the day I bought it and it drove well, Everything was as it should be and it had plenty of go, I didnt thrash it as I had no AA cover.
It starts on the button every time, I start it once a week and run it till it gets warm, just to keep it going really, plus preventing the battery from dying and it blocking up my drive.
