Got myself a brand new 807 mirror (part 8149CQ) off ebay for £20

Now, part 8149G8 is the one from my early coupe and part 8149CX is a later part, the only difference being "blue non-inset connector" and "blue inset connector" so I'm hoping I should just be able to rip the existing mirror off and switch the connector and mount over. Fingers crossed eh

Do you know how to remove the mirror? I watched the windscreen man do mine and it was kinda turn 90 deg's and pull down? looked easy anyway.

Apparently you just slide it down the front of the windscreen... or something...

I've got a big hammer and a roll of duct tape. I'll be alright :lol:
