406 rapier possible sale x reg

I have a rapier 90, i bought the car as a to replace another car, but the other car is struggling to sell which means i may have to resell the 406 (not happy about) well it's a 2001 x reg (old tax bracket) in silver with full service history, recent complete new exhuast and alround good tyres, light wood trim, door cards light (not activated on BSI), towbar and double electrics, the only fault is the speedo can sometimes be temprametal. It's mot is august, but is not taxed at the moment, the bodywork is in reasonable condition, with only rust forming along offside side, but the car has no other faults. according to the book it's valued at around 2k so i would be looking for somewhere near this oh it got 63k on the clock and a engine chip taking it upto 115bhp.

Dont want to pisss on your parade andrew but i got a X reg 110 re mapped
no rust everything works and i would be lucky to get a grand for it

when i bought the car it was advertised at £1800 o.no.o, and that was in january but i had to act quick because there was a lot of interest in the car and i got it at a good price, but looking at others simular cars with higher mileages it would be worth nearer the £1900 market, especially with the low milaege for an HDI, the fact of a touch of rust is not a major problem for this tye of car, you will find the engine will still be running when the bodywork is past it.

Well wish you luck on the sale mate ,keep us informed how it went
and by the way 406's very rarely suffer from rust , just to give you an
idea i paid £2200 for mine in 2006.

Yes it is, it means it's likely had an impact and had an inferior pattern part fitted

Where abouts is the rust? the sills or wing?

the bit of rust is on the sill, on the passenger side on the bit between the front and rear door.
