Hi, I think its a high end model, but I need to confirm the exact details as it isnt seen outside his garage that much these days. I will try to update all the details Thursday night and get pictures over the weekend.

Basically if it has leather seats then it's an exec. If not then it starts with GTX the goes Rapier, LX.

Be a strange one to price this as in 'normal' condition with 100k miles then probably around the £1,100.00 mark but this one will be worth whatever someone is prepared to pay for it for the low miles. I doubt anyone would pay more than they would for one of the newest 53/04 reg ones even with the mileage. A quick look on Autotrader says that these newest ones are about £4,500.00 tops with 50/60K miles etc.

One very important piece of information will be if it's a 90bhp or 110bhp? easy way to tell is if it has a large 3" diameter air hose on top of the engine to the right running front to back (from the intercooler) only the 110 has this.

Keep us posted.......

I wonder though... Even though the car is quite low mileage, whether the age would deterioate certain parts like rubber engine mounts etc? Or would they be OK because they haven't been used?

Its a good question. As far as im aware the car has been regularly serviced every year regardless of mileage and the last time I looked under the bonnet it all looked in great order and just like a new car.

In my mind the car will be as new. Rubber bushes do age but the use and heat adds greatly to this.

I bet it needs a good old blow out though on a fast road

ah, it gets one. A neighbour takes it for a run on the A38 every few weeks for him, just for that reason :cheesy:
