I had 20 years driving Vauxhall Astra's and Vectra's as a company car driver.
I gave up doing 30K/35K miles a year to stand in a workshop all day.
Things did'nt go all to plan and I am now on my 3rd different job in 20 Months.
First thing i did was to buy a car (first one in 20 years!) that was NOT a Vauxhall.
A 2003 pug 406 HDi 90Hp saloon in silver with Aircon and Satnav with 41K miles.
However eventually I realised that I prefered the Vectra.
Such things as rear wash/wipe, cruise control, hatchback (instead of a boot) and the ability to wipe the front side windows by merely winding the windows down and back up again. They were all missing in the pug.
Anyway, back to the plot.
I now have a Vectra (2004, 62k, 2L diesel hatchback).
I part ex-ed the 406.
It has 53K miles, everything works as far as I know, new front tyres, satnav remote control is in the glovebox.
It has Connects 2 audio input in place of 6 CD changer.
I got 2k trade-in.

Display shows it needs service in 1800 miles.
I bought an RAC car check on it, and (assuming it is still on the HDU in the other computer) i will email you it. It is all clear. PM me.
Reg is KY53 CJU.
It is in Evans Halshaw Ford dealers in Wrexham, North Wales.
So if your interested in it, that where it is, but Evans Halshaw might move it to different dealer if you ask.
Cheers,
Tony
