Lol I've got one. Shame it also has 3rd gear synchro gone lol.
I just had the fun and games of trying to match up a box for mine (mine has the oddball box).
Really you need to first determine which box your has, as they brought out more than one type and obviously gear ratios are different between petrol and diesel.
As for as I am aware, there are three types for the D9 alone
Firstly, you need to have a look and see if your gearstick is cable or linkage driven. The best way of checking it all out is to give the main stealer the last 8 digits of your vin number then ask them for the gearbox type (usually something like LM22 LE20 etc).
Then if you have a breakers where the box is still in the car you can do the same with the vin numbers and match them up. I had to go all the way to Kings lynn for mine, but well worth it and if your box is still in situ and you can drive it there they will match it up for you.
IF you want their number it's (NCS Car spares) 01760 337142 and they are a dedicated peugeot/citroen breaker.
Don't pay any more than £250 for a second hand box either.

I've got one
- assuming yours is a BE3 gearbox, (reverse next to 4th, as opposed to a ML5T with reverse next to 1st).
Still on the car, (which is probably going for scrap), PM me if interested.

<steve_earwig> I think this forum is more about keeping our cars going with minimal outlay than giving our cars more reason to go bang

No, Supa - the box is from a HDi 90 with rod, not cable linkage,(it's a BE3R, I think, like your 306).

You're probably right, I must admit I can't actually remember offhand which car's reverse is where without being in it at the timedogslife wrote:No, Supa - the box is from a HDi 90 with rod, not cable linkage,(it's a BE3R, I think, like your 306).
