WANTED - cheap 1.9 diesel d8 / OFFERED D8 1.8 Petrol LX

Am looking to sell my old petrol d8 (1.8 LX, N reg. 90k on clock, MOT till 04/JUN/10 $500 ONO

want to get a diesel of similar age as although im getting 34-36 MPG after fitting a new lambda sensor.
I could do with something a bit cheaper to run
have been out of work for a while now so this is main priority
If some one knows of or see's one with reasonable mileage (under 140-150k pref. less)
please let me know i would most appreciate it

Here's one:

It's in Redditch - not sure where in Wiltshire you are, but I picked Wootton Bassett as a starting point on Autotrader.

It's a 2.0L HDi from 2000, it looks in nice shape, nice colour to it, and it's under a grand.

It's got the L trim level though, which is not so good.

Ive actually moved to west midlands recently and hadn't updated my profile

Looking for an older 1.9 D8 model really
as I learned how to mend cars with these engines and feel confident working with them
Ive seen a few on autotrader and ebay motors.

Not much MOT on mine at the minute I might wait to renew to get a better deal.
would really depend on the car.

Ohh and it has 82,000 on the clock i looked today
Dent in rear door (previous owner i hasten to add)
but good apart from that now Ive sorted everything
