If the PowerFlow pipe is the same width or even just a little bigger, you should find a little improvement (because it's stainless steel, and because of the design of the boxes, it will flow a bit more freely anyway). And, at least, the PowerFlow will never rust.

Right, that's established that the principle is well known, so now you can justifiably stick your lead light in the tank and see if they can change the bulb.....

Lost the tape measure . Sorry, I am utterly hopeless . I actually think I left it at work. Will double-check tomorrow, if not, I'll borrow one from someone else (or buy one on the way home from work).

Drop it in the fish tank, then calculate the dimensions from the displacement?

Whoah, slow down there, Archimedes. It's not that big a tank!

Do you mean the tiny chisel-ended screwdrivers with the little neon inside for doing mains stuff? If so I have at least 5 of the buggers (one in my electrical stuff box, one in each fuse panel at both houses and a couple more knocking about somewhere...)

And torches - Croatia seems to have bought all its electrical network second-hand from Namibia or something and we have powercuts at least a couple of times a week, there's nothing like floundering around in the dark with a fag lighter trying to find a bloody torch. And then when you've found it batteries for the damn torch

Have you thought about fitting an Emergency Light fitting somewhere practickle?

Image

You can even get Emergency downlighters but I haven't worked out if they only charge when they're 'on' during normal use or whether you need to frigg up a permanent live too?

I have yes, but (once more with feeling) I live in Croatia so it's hard to get hold of anything useful.
