What not even with all the work that needs doing, and the fact there is no tax....vladman wrote:not really mate...
i did mention the tax was going to expire end of may in the initial post. i think the car's a bargain as it is. i'm willing to sensibly negotiate, but not drop the already low price by 20-30%.

4000cc supercharged V8
370bhp
387 ft/lbs of torque
0-60 5.3sec
the other day, i got serious wheelspin when i floored it at 50mph (it was wet though)!
cost me an arm and a leg, and both the peugeot and my motorbike need to be sacrificed for it, but it's worth it!
now seriously, regarding the peugeot and what i want for it. i loved that car, and it genuinely pains me i have to get rid of (but can't justify keeping it), and i think it's ludicrous it's worth as little as it is these days. i know that's the market and there's nothing i can do about it, but it's still crazy. i mean, my 600cc tatty 6 year old motorbike is worth over a grand. what sense does that make?? i'm asking for less than a grand for a 3 litre v6 car, with low mileage and great spec. is it perfect? of course it isn't. but i still think it's worth AT LEAST what i'm asking for it... considering what you get. i mean, it all depends on what you want and how you look a it really. if you're looking for an immaculate car, than this car isn't for you (i don't mean you speciffically niz, but generally)... if you're looking for something that can entertain, and also take 4-5 people in comfort, and will be reliable, but are not concerned with what are mostly cosmetical issues, then this car can hardly be beaten for value...
after all, the timing belt and radiator replacement and a service at 54000 miles cost me £870 (i have the receipt for this)! i'm looking to at least get that back (not to mention what i paid for the car in december 2004 when i bought it - £3000).
off my righteousness box now...
p.s. i'm 34 - do the specs above sound to you like those of a car an old person would go for?

So for your bashed one.... with no tax.... I think £870 is reasonable
