Kind of, importers have to pay a percentage on the Croatian book price but basically cars are so expensive here it's still worth importing them (eg according to the book my 1998 2.1 td estate is worth 30,000Kn - £3,381.51). I think the majority of cars over a few years old are imports.

Look at the way the passenger air bag has mashed up the dash

I've heard about this on the 406 but never seen it until now :o

Labour only to remove and refit a whole dash can be getting on for £500.00 so would definately be the final nail in the coffin for any deployed air bagger's :(

Isn't there a switch in the seat to tell the ecu there's no-one in it? (There is on other cars :frown: )

Perhaps I should add that it's also worth buying cars which, to you and me, are totally totalled.

Knowing your luck, and Peugeot's elite wiring team, that will turn your airbag off :?

Actually I remember seeing a recall somewhere around about 2002/multiplexing where they did exacly that! the wiring was arse about face in the event of an accident  still it's an easy mistake to make, we shouldn't be to hard on them :|

Any impact hard enough to set off the airbags is going to be enough to write a D8 off and D9s are getting cheaper by the day too...

If it was a left hooker it'd be worth more here than before it got mangled there.

LHD cars do seem to go for a premium now, european prices are higher than ours, maybe because they can export them to the old Eastern Block countries, Africa etc where as no one really wants RHD ones because it's only us,Ireland,Aus,Japan and a few other countries that drive on the left.
