As for the thermostat area, it could be both... the cover new from dealer is £12 approx and the gasket is a couple quid... do not buy a thermostat from a motor factors and try and use the supplied gaskets, they are not thick enough, the leak will just return.

All,
I'm off all this week as I need to strip bits off the car, if you still want the bits you asked for let me know so I know what to take off before sending to the scrappers.. tax runs out this month so I have got to get it gone.
