I guess this is the thread referred to. Yes I did say that the wiring was different, partly because the Exec has memory seats and the GTX doesn't and partly because the engine bay loom/ecu have different plugs/layout. So I couldn't simply swap the parts from one car to another. However if you are that way inclined you can definitely modify the seat memory unit to take a separate power supply and get power, memory seats/mirrors or it may be possible to mix and match parts of your existing seats to get manual or basic electric movement. As the GTX only misses out on a couple of minor 'toys' it wasn't worth me putting the effort in.

So airbag connections all the same then? Out of curiosity, how much did you get for your interior in the end? I've found one at a breakers that's supposed to be mint, but they want £300 for it. Very tempted to get it, but everyone tells me that £300 is way too much to pay for one.

The seats are stored at my brother-in-laws so I can't just go and look but the air-bag and pre-tensioner plugs are only two pin if I recall correctly, so not a huge problem. The problem for me was that the memory unit has a large multi-pin connector with power not just for the seat motors, but also for the mirrors and that the mirror controls are routed through it. So the power fold function on the mirrors would need the door switches changed, the wiring loom changed on the door and the body of the car, and the seats swapped. That's a lot of work just to get power fold mirrors! If it was plug and play I'd have done it.

:arrowu: I obviously still have the interior, and I listed it at £150.

Sorry, didn't realise you still had it. In which case, if you still want it gone & it's all good condition & compatible, I'll happily give you £150 for it. Black isn't it?

If you could get a pic of the plugs under the driver's seat next time you're there, I should be able to see if the airbag plugs are the same from poking my head under my seats & I'll sort something out for either coming & collecting myself, or maybe get a friend to pick up while he's in the area if that's ok with you? I'm pretty sure the plugs are the same as according to coupe Ade, any D9 seats should fit any D9.

Glad I looked back through the old threads now.

No problem, I'll try to swing by and get some pics later this week.
I must warn you that the seats with their frames take up an extraordinary amount of room, when trying to move them without damaging anything!

Not a problem - have access to a rather roomy Peugeot Boxer that should accommodate it easily!

That should do the trick! It was a bit of a squeeze getting them in my other 406 estate to move them!

Due to my letting him down, the leather interior is still available @ £150 & I have to say from the pics I was sent, it'll be well worth the money. Especially seeing as the other interior that somebody posted about a couple of days ago has already gone now.

Here are the pics:

& if anybody is a bit scared of the wiring aspect of things, here is a bit of help from the coupe boys:

150 quid?! I hate you all!! Does that include headrests? I still hate you all even if it doesn't.

Having thoughts of how long it'd take me to persuade my bro to tool over there with my dad's trailer and then visions of them having a nightmare getting them in the loft where they'll stay for two years...

If £150 sounds that cheap to you, why don't you see how much it'd cost to get shipped over on a pallet?

I've just scrolled back on this, I didn't realise this was the same set Puggy was sniffing 'round in April which I thought he'd bought (how comes he didn't?). Shipping's not the issue, it's getting them through customs because they're likely to ignore what I actually paid for them and charge whatever they feel like. And don't suggest talking to them, I've been trying to do that for almost a month :(

Well bugger it. I presume headrests, do the heaters work and is that just a bit of fluff or something on the driver's seat that looks like a hole? How much for the back bumper? (Mine has a crack in it)

I don't fancy the idea of it but the cheapest way is for me to follow Blue406's suggestion on page 1 of this thread and drive over to Blighty, fit them and drive back. Hell, it's only 13 hours to Calais

Headrests were included - just stored in a different place to the seats & they were heated because he asked me if I needed the switches etc.

Just sent him a text to let him know you're interested.

There is a small white mark on the surface of the drivers seat. I haven't tried to remove it as it didn't bother me and I'd rather leave it alone than damage the seat trying to remove it.
Headrests and armrests are stored at my place in Luton, I forgot to take them up to my brother-in-laws to take pics.
Heated seats work fine (When they were fitted in the car) and airbag/pre-tensioners are un-used (untested!).

Ah, the very chap :cheesy: I've already okayed a trip with the wife (sort of - you should take someone with you. Who? You can't drive :frown: ), I just need to sort out collection with my family back there. Btw I presume the connectors are with the loom, Waue's link says it would have been better with the connectors - how much for your wome... sorry, the loom? Seat heater switches?

I'm afraid I'm being forced to go out and enjoy myself now, I'd rather be sorting this out but this is one of those rare occasions where someone actually wants the pleasure of my company  At least my favourite Catholic priest will be there (the one that loves Father Ted :supafrisk: )
