Teamy, if you are struggling to get a pipe for your car you might look into the Pirtek service centres, they repair hydraulic pipes, if not those guys then maybe look for a smaller independent hydraulic repair shop.

How about the PAS pipe Chaz?
Ive got one of the long hydraulic pipes that goes from I think the powersteering pump to the res - is this the one you need?

Where you based? Im going down to Basingstoke tomorrow and could meet / drop it off if you were along the way ...

That's very kind of you to offer! :) I'll double check when my wife gets home, but if you stand in front of the car it comes off the back of the pump and disappears down the front of the engine (I think!)

Just seen, you are in Woking, ironically where I bought my current car a week ago ....

So, we will be in Basingstoke, I think I know the pipe - its fairly long? Ill bring what I can and you can take what you want. Is there anything else you are looking for that I might have?

Planning on being down around lunchtime (ish) and down for the day. Sleeping over in Oxford - so anytime really from then. I will be with the family, so ideal if you could travel to me? Ill reply to your PM with my number and details. Plus, my new car sucks juice, youll see what it is tomorrow ;p

Ill need to go do some digging in the garage tonight. Let me know via text or phone if theres anything else you would want me to bring - Lots of other small bits, pipes etc. If theres space, ill bring it.

That's perfect :)
My eldest son is at a birthday party early afternoon so I'll be at home looking after the youngest until they're back. Thanks very much! :)

Edit: You beat me to it; I'll get a photo up on here as soon as she gets back.

Well in fact my wife has just got back; she says that the party is 3-5 so I would probably head over before then depending on what time you arrive. Failing that if I came over after she got back it would be around 6.

Here it is, goes down the front of the engine I assume to the steering rack.
Also a daft question; you wouldn't happen to have any spare wheel nuts would you? I need two to replace butchered locking wheel nuts.
Thanks mate! :)
