I think Steve could be a prime candidate for the idea myself & Elliot discussed about the LHD cars & memory seats here.

As your car is a LHD it just means you'll end up with the ECU (& extra wiring work) on the passenger side rather than the drivers, but according to the coupe crowd, the passenger seat just needs a simple +ve & -ve feed. This gave me cause to theorize that if you were to get a passenger seat from a LHD car (which would be a drivers seat here) you would only need to send a +ve & -ve feed to each seat.

As far as the wiring goes though, my intention was to use the passenger seat as a pattern to figure out the wiring on the drivers seat as all you really need to do is remove the ECU from the equation.

I'm currently toying with this idea in reverse, swapping the wiring on a standard drivers seat with the wiring from the leather, memory seat in my Exec, giving me a cloth interior with memory in my Exec and a set of leather seats pre-wired with standard electrics to sell.

You'll need to swap the motor packs over too, because they have sensors in them to tell the ecu where abouts the seats are (connected to the white plug). The switches are different too as they lack earths, but I think you know that one already.

Yes, when I said wiring I was including all the electrical components. It's one of those things that may or may not get done. I'll have a better idea once I get the seats out of the GTX.
Even then it may have to wait for a rainy weekend. After I've washed the car. And tidied the garage. And re-lagged the pipes in the loft.

I have the changer cable, but it's still bundled up in the rest of the loom. Do you need it in a hurry?

Still got a pile of GTX/Exec parts jammed in the garage. The last 406 is leaving my drive in a couple of weeks and these bits will be loaded in it on its trip to the scrappers.
I'm open to offers on any of it, as long as it's worth my time to sort out the bits.
