406 headlight protectors

Post by no2lurch »

My 2001 406 came with a pair of headlight protectors which I dont want to fit so I am selling them instead.

In good condition - trial fitted them yesterday and they are crack free.

I can't find any new ones specifically for the 406 D9 but, in general, they seem to go for about 45 quid.

I'd have them but I'd have to pay about 50 quid to import them here :(

If they're easy to fit and are a worthwhile upgrade, and don't make your 406 look like it's wearing varifocals, I might - but am skint at the moment...

Exhaust time on Monday, road tax due this month, and a 12,000 mile service fast approaching too, given the amount of driving I've been doing lately...

If you happen to still have them at some point next month I will probably be able to.

Very much so, Steve :(

Month-end can't come fast enough!

I'm also being informed by the Wifely Person that I'm not to spend more money on the 406, which probably means she's either deciding on which handbag she wants next (very likely), or she's thinking about The Next Car (not so very likely)...

Remind her who earns it and if you both earn the bread, remind her you have equal input on what you spend it on.
Failing that, remind her of all the shoes and clothes she has that are never worn.

You've met her, haven't you

No, she's fine; I was just having a little dig at her :)
