Gear box wanted

Post by sonicspanner »

Hi all, can any one help with a manual 5 speed gear box for a 2ltr hdi 90bhp 99T plate, has the ridged linkage bars, I think its the BE3 code for the box. I think my diff bearings are on the way out, there is also another chap on here how will need a box aswell (Vibration under acceleration) but I don't know what box is fitted to his car. My location is Telford Shropshire, but I also travel to Oxfordshire, where I work on shifts, but can travel to most places.

Thanks for the offers of gearbox's, but unfortunatly peugeot had a vast number of box's fitted to there cars, the best discription of my box is a hudralic operated clutch, and has a horn shape shifter on the rear upper face of the box (as it would sit in the car) with a ball joint. To help with pics, you can either email them to [email protected], or text them to 07946603809. Hope this helps with sorting the right gear box.

You can't interchange petrol and diesel gearboxes - the ratios are very different.

Cheers bud, that solves that one, he he, and I never even gave the ratios between petrol and deisals a thought, top marks to that chap, gold star is needed.
