gauging interest in breaking 406 1.9 td or £350 for the car

Post by djinuk »

OK.. Basically i have this car however if i cant sell the full car i will be breaking it. Damn shame really.

, this sale is on behalf of my stepdad, he runs a private hire taxi buisness and this was one of his cars.

Basically the car was running without a temp gauge (not sure why it was not workin) . The bottom rad hose split, dropped the water, the driver smelt the engine, and turned it off. The engine no longer manages to fire up.

Reason for sale rather than fixing it is due to running a taxi buisness the cars have to be 100% reliable, and although this has been up until this point we cant really afford to be running older vehicles.

Moted until June 30th
No tax as this was cashed back in
4 mint tyres

In the last 6 months
New radiator
Recon turbo
Fresh cambelt and full service
New shock absorber
new track rod ends

Not sure on mileage of engine however i can confirm it once im back at the car (tomorrow) last mot was 167k

The car is very clean and has been well looked after with new parts whenever required.

Here are the pics please note the stuff on the back end of the vehicle is just foam sticker where somebody pulled a plate off.

Should you have any question please dont hestiate to call me on

Hi Mate

I might be interested in some of the panels etc if you break it - possibly bumper, wings, doors, wing mirrors

do you know what the colour code is by any chance - should be printed on the n/s suspension turret

mine is MOMP seen here:
