Ive just changed jobs and have been reluctantly enrolled on the company car scheme - a Nissan Kumquat of all things, so unfortunatly my loyal, trusty, gorgeous 406 estate is up for sale.
I purchased this a few months back from the ORIGINAL owner who had aquired the car from new.
A lovely family who kept the car maintained at any cost, it has a FULL Peugeot service history from day one, even down to tyres and wiper blades.
The sheaf of invoices and stamps in the book are eye opening,to say the least.
Its a 2001 90bhp 2.0 hdi Rapier estate in Platinum Silver metallic, with the following standard spec.
Alloy wheels
Remote locking with 3 keys!!
ABS and EBD
Auto Lights and Wipers
Trip Computer
CD Player
4 x Electric windows
Remote stereo controls
EVERYTHING works, air con is ice cold, nothing is broken and nothing needs doing.
Since i got the car i have replaced the two front tyres, and the rear suspension top links, and just given it a full service, (oil & Filter, fuel filter, air filter, pollen filter).
The rear tyres were also changed in the last 6 weeks, so 4 as new tyres - all matching of course.
Its MOT'd until August 2011, and taxed until the end of January 2011
Mileage is 140k, cambelt & water pump were done at 103k by Peugeot, just been serviced prior to sale, so wont need doing till 150k at least.
Bodily its in tip top order, i had 3 parking dinks taken out by a pro dent man, and its got a very slight ding in the lower rear drivers wheel arch, but thats being ultra critical, like i am.
Ive just returned from a 1200 mile trip to france and it managed an average fuel consumption of 54mpg, fully loaded.
Im looking for £1700 which is a fair price for a car with such history, in such original condition and needing NO work doing to it.
Look at the pictures to see how mint it is. Any questions let me know.
Matt
