Chrome exhaust trim

Post by FarmerPug »

i bought it off ebay, it was 70mm so much too big for my Hdi exhaust, but perhaps the petrols, or the 2.2hdi has a bigger exhaust, or a different car needing one, anyhow i dont need it, i got the payment refunded, and the seller doesnt need it sending back. So if anyone wants one i have one.

if your exhaust curls down at the end well then a hacksaw is the solution, cut out the curled bit, slide over the new chrome bit and bolt it on tight. If you have a diesel the soot will soon fill the inside of the trim and youll never notice the cut bit.
But anyhow out came the vernier calipers and i have done the precise measurements that the ebay sellers have no idea about:

colour came out a bit odd on the camera in that

the display read 23mm, so the screw has that degree of movement.
So thats the measurements, it didnt fit my HDI i had to purchase a 60mm trim, but perhaps some other car it would suit.
