They might have a RRP of £230.00 but no-one pays this, I think you're being a bit ambitious asking for £100.00 to be honest, and a little brave advertising the fact you work for a main dealer and happen to own, and wish to sell, a set of new discs on here (someone could get the wrong idea, I know a lad who lost his job selling stuff through ebay - he worked for a motor factors, most of it was genuinely his to sell but one or two things hadn't been accounted for and he took the rap for it as it was difficult to prove - something to do with their stock-taking).

Do you know what make of disk they really are? From the size they're to fit the mighty Brembo and a pair of EBC disks will cost about that.

I don't want to sound confrontational but you must be aware of the incredible mark up there is on most dealer parts.

In fact, if I might be permitted a small rant at this point: Peugeot seem to think sticking an outsourced part in a bag with chevrons and lions on it entitles them to increase the cost up to 1000%. I realise they're running a business and have overheads to pay but it sometimes feels like they're expecting spare parts to make all their profits. For pretty much all of us on this site the 406 we drive isn't just a car: we are enthusiasts, and the way we maintain these cars doesn't just reflect on us, it also reflects on the manufacturer - people see all these immaculate 406s running about and they think that perhaps Peugeot make a good, durable car, and are more likely to buy one. And how does Peugeot repay us? Oh, is this the handle of a knife I feel protruding from my back?

Couldn't agree more Steve!

Perfect example is the DMF and clutch I bought today, it's in a box with Peugeot and Citroen logos but is an LUK / Valeo set.
I can usually buy Valeo stuff really cheap at my local Valeo dealer, but this stuff for mine wasn't yet available from LUK/Valeo...

£590 as opposed to £430 from my local place and the £590 was a special price from a mate, the normal price should have been £770, I think that was plus vat but may be wrong.

I can get Brembo discs at very good prices from my usual place, he's a Brembo agent.
