Re: Sat nav screen Wanted please
im a bit particular about my pug yes
sure a standalone system might be better and cheaper, but it attracts thieves, and i always liked the idea of having a compass in the car.
I suppose the factory fitted sat nav in the 406 isnt really a sat nav but just something to give a few cordinates, so you can use it with an ordinance survey map, and enjoy the good olde days of motroring ie getting lost while thinking you have an idea where your going.
Any screens available

No, it is a fully-fledged sat-nav system. You can't feed it postcodes, but you can give it house numbers and addresses, and it does do voice-based route-guidance.FarmerPug wrote:the factory fitted sat nav in the 406 isnt really a sat nav
It's not brilliant though.
You would be better with a TomTom, but if you're all for keeping it standard, then the kit you've got will sort you out.
And since I know you love the boxes with the Heraldic Lion and the Chevrons on them, here's a little thing I found, just for you:

"406 display"
There don't appear to be any more of them (with the IR function) on eBay at the moment; hope you get a response from the seller.
Did you try ade1122 on the Coupe Club forum? I know you didn't get a reply from him about something else earlier (and I had a similar experience - but I just contacted him again about cigarette lighter sockets and got a response) - he might have some of these screens in stock.
