Peugeot 406 2.2 SRi

- stacks of paper work (all old MOT's & service bills)
- half leather + armrests (no rips / tears).
- on-board computer

- a/c - needs a re-gas but it WILL work as the whole system was overhauled with £200 of new plumbing!
- new cat within the last year
- MOT - August
- Tax - October

I've owned the car for 3 years now and it's been used as a daily hack. It's never let me down and the only things I've had to replace are the cat and an o2 sensor. I've been offered another car for cheap money so I am taking up that offer and putting the 406 up for sale. It's too good to scrap (engine & gearbox are excellent!) but it will require minor work in order to pass it's next MOT.

I have identified:

- 2x front tyres (verging on the limit so they might pass)
- n/s CV joint is knocking (£35 from ECP + fitting)
- play in bushes at front

Other than that it is mechanically sound. The body work has a few scuffs as you'd expect with a car of this age. The interiors is very clean. If no one wants to buy the whole car I will break it up...

I saw you advertising this as a breaker over at the Coupe Club and was just thinking "Nooooooo"

I really hope this sells as it looks like an absolute cracker. I can also attest to how good the 2.2 engine is as I have the same lump in my Coupe. It's surprisingly economical, a really good balance between economy and power.

Let people know where you are, too, as that's a big factor in helping people decide.

It really would be a shame to see it scrapped and broken for spares. As you say, the 2.2 engine is very good. It's very rev happy!

Location wise I'm on the south-coast in Hastings. As the car has MOT & Tax for the next couple of weeks I could possibly deliver it somewhere on my travels.
