SOLD

Post by BlueBolt »

Before I start to take everything off it and start selling the parts by themselves, I thought I'd see if anyone wanted the lot of it as a bundle...

Engine, 63,591 miles. Currently being run with fully synthetic oil
Gearbox, recent oil change, no clunks into gears or any problems with it at all.
Loom
All ancillaries that make the engine and gearbox run except for the air box.
Manifold to downpipe connection (unless you want the exhaust too)

I want a quick sale, but you will need to bring a hoist with you to remove engine as I don't have access to one at the moment...
More than happy to help with the removal of it all though.

£250 or offers around that mark.
I don't think that's too much for everything being included... If I'm wrong then please let me know.... Or make an offer I can't refuse lol

I have a baby being born tonight by the look of things...

So... The next two weeks I will be off work and as such I will be more available to get this engine out!!

Make the most of the time if you wish... Get a bargain deal on a great engine, complete with everything you'll need to get it in and running in your car!!

now that is the wrong way to ask

here is how i would do it in your situation
i would find a company that could pick it upon a pallet then ask the seller if he could but it on a pallet and you would get it collected.

I don't know if there are such companies there.
A friend of mine is lloking for one of those. He's going to buy one from Ade, but this one is 100£ cheaper and has 10000 miles less, so I thought I could try to find out how much shipping could be. Ade charges 300£.

Also, I forgot to add in my previous post, greetings for your soon to be newborn. I've had one around 10 months ago. Congratulations!

Ade charges £300 for shipping??
I can look into the cost of shipping for you, I work for a courier company but have no idea what they would charge me for sending something to italy... It would probably take around 3 days to get there though...

Thank you for the congratulations. Kody was born at 10:36 this morning and both baby and Mum are in great shape :)

Well done then :cheesy:

Well shipping something heavy and huge as an engine to Ita isn't exaclty cheap... sadly agreements with Ade have already been done. However since the engine is so cheap and low on miles (has cambelt been done?) I may ask some on the italian coupé forums for interest, if you want.

Yes mate, cam belt, tensioners, water pump and auxiliary belt all got done at 42k.

I'm more than happy to send it over, depends on what I can get the courier charge for from my work as to what I charge for it, but I should be able to beat most market prices for shipping something of this size and weight :) lol

No problem mate, give me till Tuesday evening and I should have a rough idea of cost...

Don't suppose you know the weight of the engine & gearbox do you?? Would make my quote a lot easier to get if I knew this, should be able to rough quote it either way though...

No problem, the engine is gonna be bought from him anyway. But since there is enough request for these low mileage engines in Italy and here you find them much more expensive than you do in UK maybe I can find you another buyer. But first I need to know the shipping costs. I asked Adrian for weigh.
