16ins Hoggar Alloy Pics For IanGT4

Here are the pics of the Hoggar wheels that have been sat in the garden for the past 6 months.

Tyres are all 215/55x16:

2 x Nexen N3000 97W with approx 4mm

1 x Michelin Pilot HX 93W with approx 3mm

1 x Torneo Stunner 97V with 3mm at the centre, but only about 2mm at the edge.

i completly forgot to measure my tyre depth i promise i will do it tomorrow dude, the wheels look fine though, looks like they will refurb up nicely

No prob. They do look the business on the car - give it a nice wide stance compared to the standard 15s. It's just a shame that they seem to corrode so easily. I got through 3 or 4 really nasty sets to get these ones, then gave up & decided to get the Nautilus ones refurbed.

Hi m8, after pricing up new tyres, the cost of refurbing the wheels, and collecting them ive decided to pass, thanks for the offer though and i am sorry for messing you about, just dont fancy throwing £500 at a set of 16" wheels for what is basically my work car when mine are perfectly adequate for the time being

No prob. When I get a dry day I'll be sticking them on the car so the Nautilus wheels can be sold on.

you should get more for those anyway wont you ? sorry to mess u about, just didnt make sence to do it when i priced up to get the wheels looking 100% with good tyres on

Hopefully. Overall I'd say the car would be easier to sell as the Hoggars look more standard fit, plus the Nautilus wheels are in mint condition & rare as rocking horse sh*t. That said though, the rarity of the Nautilus wheels makes them difficult to price as there is no sign of any being sold recently for me to compare.

Posted them on the coupe club Sunday night, but as yet I've only had one person express interest & he didn't even make an offer anyway. Reckon they'll end up on Ebay once removed.
