Wanted: 10mm bolts

I'm after some of the things used all over the car to hold stuff like the air filter bracket on. Short 10mm bolts with a slightly tapered tip... Anyone got any spare?

Hardware shop? You could have some nice snazzy zinc plated ones from somewhere like Mr Fastner (who seem to have burned down! )

Do you mean 10mm head with a 6mm thread? or 10mm thread?

10mm head - there's loads of these things around the car, like the three holding the air filter bracket to the battery box

My customer with the Puegeot Partner van I did some work on during the week owns a Fastener suppliers (nut and bolt shop).

If you still need some, post the exact requirements and i'll get you some FOC.

Hold on a min Jasper !!! could you ask him if he does cap head bolts or set
screws in 2mm 3mm 4mm in various lengths from 5mm up with ny-lock nuts
and washers , and price cheers Jasper ..

I'll give him a shout this afternoon for you, I'll post later this afternoon or this evening....I have a later type Golf TDi timing belt job to do, they aint easy

I'll get some 6mm threaded bolts just in case

there is a joke in there somewhere about tight fisted w@nkers and making it long and thin, but i will fecked if i can make it fit

Lou, He has m3 hex screws only in black in 6, 8, 12, and 16mm.

He has m4 hex screws only in black, in 8mm and 12mm lengths.

The m2 threaded ones are not easy to get hold of and can only be supplied in 200 screws in a box.

Nuts and washers are shiny ones, he has plenty of stock of all sizes.

Please list me the quantity you are after and he will price them up for you.
