Re: 406 executive turbo for sale
it's the lack of t&t... No tax means you're limiting your buyers to local people, and having no MOT is often the same as saying "it'll never pass a test in a million years"
<steve_earwig> I think this forum is more about keeping our cars going with minimal outlay than giving our cars more reason to go bang

Re: 406 executive turbo for sale
the reason i put it on here is for someone to get a cheep car to build a 205 with as ive seen a few wanting bits on the site, but i need the full car to go as i dont have the space to break it my self.

Hey, I'm not knocking it, I'm just saying it's hard to sell cars with no t&t, as I've recently discovered myself!
Perhaps it might be worth saying something like "Alternatively, you can just have whatever parts you want from the car as long as you can remove them yourself within 7 days of the auction end, then I'll scrap the shell"? That would totally kill any interest from people who might want it as a car, but attract people looking for a donor. If anyone takes you up on it, you'll also get some dollah from the scrappy!
