My original 5-speed 'box

Post by Doggy »

As you may have noticed, I've upgraded to a 6-speed ex-Citreon C5 gearbox: viewtopic.php?f=1&t=19725

So the old gearbox is looking for a new home. It's works perfectly and has covered 105k miles. As you can see on the other thread the speed sensor drive gear has been transferred to the 6-speed, so would need replacing from yours.

Not sure on this, but I think it has slightly higher gearing than a 110, so might help one of you remapped 2.0 owners?

There's a few on eBay at £ 120 / 130, so how's about £ 75 collected?
2002 HDi 2.2 Exec Estate, (2008-12) (wonderful)
2003 HDi 2.2 6-speed Exec Estate (2012-19) (also a gem)
2009 Citroen C5 2.0 HDi VTR+ Estate (godawful heap)
2008 BMW E91 330i touring (great fun - murdered by a reversing SUV)
2007 BMW E91 325i touring (slower smoother quieter)

Swap, yes.
Removal and installation?

Perhaps not.
