Thats a good ad Rich, nice and clear, good pictures and a very honest description.

Maybe add an engine bay pic and a boot space pic too. You can lose the side on picture and the one showing the roof patch to make room for them if not enough picture space.

Does your car have auto headlights, dimming mirror, electric windows, electric seats etc - maybe add this under the Tax + MOT paragraph as this will catch the eye more than the gumph at the top.. :cheesy:

Agree it's a very good ad. Only reservation, the suggestion that you'll scrap it if unsold is likely to make people think they don't need to offer much, or will let it run to conclusion, call your mobile and offer you marginally more than scrap value.

weren't you having to have your house re-wired too lozz?
8 kids. flippineck! Sonia has some catching up to do!
We'll see what happens on the auction, but if you want it then we can probably work something out as I'm not busting for the cash -- for once.

Thanks for the suggestions. I've added a list of toys and removed the scrap comment. I can't find an engine pic and I know I don't have a boot pic so that will be to do tomorrow...

Fantastic ad, makes the car sound hard to turn down. I'd ditch the 'scrap' comment and change it for something like 'space needed' for new car or something?

It appears to be impossible to edit the text, only to add to it.

Anyway, it's got a bid now, so it will definitely sell.

Had a call this morning from a chap in Basingstoke who wants to look at it.

Wonder what it will end up at?!

Perhaps you could add something to the effect that by "scrap" you mean you'd break it and that you have people queuing up for parts

I don't see why you wouldn't get £500.00 for it? unless I'm missing something?

It's gone for £550.

Having been sat for a week it started after two cranks as always. However, the handbrake had stuck on, the discs had rusted so the brakes were useless, and the steering felt heavy. So it hardly put it's best foot forwards

The guy hasn't got a clue.
First thing he did was light a fag in it.

So, that was that.

I guess I'll piss off now then.

That's not a bad result Rich, better to shift it quick for a bit less than you hoped than have to advertise again and maybe again.
