LOW MILEAGE N REG PEUGEOT 306 XSI

Post by jameslxdt »

Right, i bought this car as a project, it was a non-runner with a keypad fault, i disconnected the keypad and bought a new ECU from peugeot and now it runs, but i have nowhere to keep it anymore so it has to go, its a low mileage example at 64,000 for the year, the bodywork isnt great, there are alot of dents and scratches, the interior isnt too bad, with only the drivers seat showing 2 fag burns, the drivers electric window has a problem it goes crooked when you put it down, the clutch is very heavy, one of the rear brake calipers are starting to seize, and one tyre will need replacing, i also have no service history for it, i have put an mot on it about 2 months ago but there is no road tax on it

How on earth do people manage to put fag burns in upholstery? I have at least 3 in-car fags each weekday and I've never dropped one...

Sounds a bargain with 10 months MoT aswell. Can't believe no-ones taken it off you. I'm even tempted myself, I loved our D Turbo. After 6 years, it was the most attached we've been to a car.

Anyway, I can't I'm afraid. If I came home with it, I'd have to hide any sharp objects from the missus!!

If it were a diseasel I'd be very seriously tempted by the cost saving over my turbo, especially since you've had your expert hands on it, but I think I love my nice big comfy 406 too much!

Jesus, there must have been some hard-bargaining going on to get down to individual pounds

Hope you held out and stood your ground James.
