Breaking D8 2.0 HDI executive estate in silver

Post by ben19td »

Hi, I have bought the above as a donor car, I'm taking the leather seats and steering wheel from it, pretty much everything else is up for grabs, before the car is scrapped in a few days time.

I drove the car back from Cardiff when I bought it and everything works ok, so if you need any bits please let me know, otherwise all the saleable parts will be on ebay soon.

Cheers

Ben

As far as I can make out it's the same box D8 & D9, saloon, coupé and estate (8913 JS), so it'll work (providing your car left the factory so equipped or you fitted everything including the mirrors)

I think it is a tape / radio with CD changer, but the CD changer doesn't work according to last owner. I'll have a go at getting the rear view mirror off without breaking it. I have the ECU for the elec mirrors from under the drivers seat.

I'm interested in the big vacuum pipe, (that connects the vacuum pump to the brake servo), plus al least the rubber sleeves used to join the smaller vacuum pipes to the main one.

Ok, so her indoors had enough of our driveway looking like a junkyard, so the donor 406 has gone. The rear view mirror wasn't an auto dimming type, but it does have the sensors that fit on the windscreen, I didn't have a a chance to get much out of the engine, sorry about that doggy. I do have the ECU for the elec mirrors and will sort out a price to ship to Canada.

I got most of the interior out as well as he radiator, condensor and fans, ac compressor, ecu, front fog lights, headlamps, rear lights, wiper motor, spare wheel and tools.

The front and rear seats from my LX will be up for sale soon, it's in good nick, no rips or tears, only done 85000 non smoking miles.

I'd be interested in the spare wheel if you're nearby. I'm in London/Essex area

The spare wheel and toolkit are on ebay, but I'm nowhere near London or Essex unfortunately. The bottom rad hose got butchered when I took the rad out, Gray, have sent you a PM ref the seats/mirrors ECU.

The majority of the parts I took off the car before it was scrapped are now on ebay, here's a link to the interior, from there you can see all the other items, they are all starting cheap:

Many thanks
