2000 Peugeot 406 110Hdi 7 seater ' NOW GONE TO SCRAPYARD '

Post by GingerMagic »

As the title suggests, I have the opportunity to have a 406 estate for scrap value, which I will probably get.

Its a 'Y'reg, Rhodes Blue, which I believe is semi-mux - I'll add the DAM number to confirm, and post the VIN number to compare part numbers..

Good bits;
7 seater, alloys, excellent engine and box, half decent panels, intercooler, recent back brakes inc. handbrake.

Bad bits;
No MOT, clutch is nearly gone, basic interior, electrical gremlins everywhere - oh, and the chap who owns it as present is a builder, so you can imagine the state of the inside...!!

The vacuum system and bottom intercooler hose have been put by for Doggy - everything else is available.

I'll be parking it in the works car park ( so I can remove bits in my lunch break ) and it needs to be gone within a couple of weeks.

Hi mate, not gone yet - in fact I only got it last week.....

Its a D9, but without comms. - so the indicator stalk is the thin one, the same as the earlier models.

Hi, the door seal will fit fine, but I'm not sure about the power steering pipes.

If you send me your VIN number I will check on service box for compatibility.

Hi, are you still breaking the 406? If yes, I am in need of a D9 tailgate wiring loom. Like an idiot I thought a D8 would work from the local scrapyard but it didn't.

How much to post to Rotherham?

Cheers in advance.

Hi, what year is your car?

I'm breaking a 2004 and a 1999, so I'll take the loom from whichever one is nearest your cars year.

Hi, sorry but neither car I'm breaking has a Cat ( 2004 was de-Cat, 1999 cat went wrong so was replaced with a bit of pipe.. )
