Get in the queue  these type-C satnav displays are getting rare now in usable condition (minimal pixelation/missing lines), a good one will set you back ~£100 if you manage to find one and a new one from pug is £380+VAT  The normal type-B displays don't have the design fault that causes these issues so they are much more reliable. A normal type-B can be picked up for ~£15.

Mine is not too bad I can read the display but its a bit messy & hate having something in the car that don't do what it should....Found a company in Maidstone that can repair mine for £175 so might end up trying them..

Let us know if they actually fix it. In the past these companies have usually indicated they can, then realized they can't.

I have one sat on my desk as a paperweight i somehow managed to win for £45, but I'm planning on using it to fund my retirement (or replace the one in my car when it dies)

Will the 'B' type give the computer fuel displays?

You will also lose one of the trip computers, the type C has two whereas the type B only has one.

There is nothing wrong with a type B, but if you have had a type C before, then the type B seems a bit dull if swapped....

I can probably manage with only one trip computer. A new display would probably cost more than the car is worth. :frown:
