Roof racks

Post by CrazyPeteUK »

Hello and Good afternoon,

I was looking on the internet for a decent set of roof racks for my car and I'm slighty puzzled if I can fit them as there is no obvious mounting points.
Can anyone please advise on if its possible to mount them on a 2000 406 HDi 90?

Many thanks in advance. :cheesy:

I think you peel back the roof rubber/door seal and there will be 2 x captive nut type fixing for the brackets, effectively this bracket will become trapped by the rubber door seal; not ideal but that's how it is.

Thanks for the swift reply, I found them this morning still with their factory covers on the holes.

Now to find a rack that fits and looks nice.
